TRC is a privately held company that was founded in 1996 in Europe and quickly became a leader in the wireless communication arena with a focus on mobile asset management systems. TRC’s expertise in telecommunications was a natural complement in the joint venture with Praxis, which was formed in 1997 to pursue the engineering, design and integration of SCADA systems in the region. In 2000, TRC Houston was established to continue the international SCADA activities of Praxis and serve the SCADA needs of the energy capital of the world. At the present, joint ventures are being developed in North Africa (Casablanca and Cairo) and the Middle East (Dubai) to serve as satellite operations for the company's fleet management and SCADA projects in the region. Over the past five years the company has worked extensively with major oil and gas companies in the Americas, Asia, and Africa in the implementation of turnkey SCADA projects. TRC is a leader in the engineering, design, and integration of SCADA systems for a variety of applications, including pipelines, onshore and offshore production, and terminal automation. The company undertakes complete turnkey SCADA projects, including telecommunications, power systems, and instrumentation. In addition, they provide local installation and commissioning services in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
