Sierra Controls has been serving the water industry for 40 years. Over this period more than 2,000 water measurement and control systems have been provided. Projects for the irrigation industry have been in California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. Projects for domestic water systems have been in Nevada, Idaho, and Northern California. Sierra Controls has proudly provided and actively supports SCADA systems for our neighbors: Town of Minden, Indian Hills General Improvement District, Gardnerville Town Water, Gardnerville Ranchos General Improvement District, Lyon County Utilities as well as other Nevada communities of Tonopah, Beatty and Wells. We are the SCADA integrator for numerous California customers including: Central California Irrigation District i, Solano Irrigation District in Vacaville, Henry Miller Reclamation District, City of Quincy, and City of Portola. Today, Sierra Controls, LLC is owned by Farr West Engineering with headquarters in Reno, Nevada. Farr West Engineering, along with the founders of Sierra Controls, are committed to maintaining the quality customer service and high-end products that the company's clients are accustomed to receiving. Sierra Controls has a 15,600 sq. ft. facility at 940 Mallory Way, Ste. 1 in Carson Cit, Nevada and a staff of over 20 employees. Sierra Controls LLC, is a Nevada based company that was first incorporated in 1972. The company continues to be a leader in the water measurement and control industry as a system integrator and manufacturer of specialized water measurement products. Although most of our customer base is in the west, Sierra Controls has provided system design and implementation throughout the country. Sierra Controls specializes in water measurement and control systems for public works, utilities, agriculture, private industry, and government organizations. The main emphasis has been in remote control and telemetry systems that utilize radio telecommunications. A major part of the work has been in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
