Applied Controls Technology (ACT) provides services including electrical engineering, PLC and computer programming, and turnkey systems. Electrical engineering services include design and specification of motor control centers; variable frequency drives, programmable controllers, DCS, and personal computer components; complete drawings using any of several CAD packages; and field devices. Special emphasis is placed on complete and accurate documentation of hardware and software. All programming is fully documented and written in modular fashion to allow easy modifications by plant personnel when changes are required. ACT can provide start-up and training services as required.
