Parsons is a medium-size full service EPC firm, financially stable and highly respected in engineering competence and with a specialty process control department to address the higher levels of digital technology. A multi-discipline engineering staff handles various size projects up to $100 million. The advanced control technology group will execute a stand-alone control modernization project from study and justification phases through engineering, installation, start-up, and dynamic loop tuning. If commercially or operationally justified, layers of advanced control schemes are added and/or interfaced with a plant management system leading to optimization. The analyzer system organization will also take single source responsibility from identification of stream to be measured to post start-up and documentation. Parsons has recently executed several continuous emmissions monitoring systems (CEMS) project. The process engineering department, CAD, and CAE support technology provide support in process simulation and modeling.
