Contec Systems provides turnkey programmable logic controller (PLC) based data acquisition systems for integration with continuous emissions monitors (CEMs). The control and data acquisition systems can be installed on new or retrofit applications. Contec supports PLC brands and models including all major manufactured PLCs available in the United States. The PLC is configured to perform all CEM operations including auto-calibration, analyzer drift and diluent correction calibrations, and all CEM housekeeping requirements. Contec's data acquisition system runs under a multi-tasking environment. The data acquisition reports conform to all local regulatory agencies' and the customer specific requirements. Contec also provides design and engineering of distributed control systems for CEM control, emissions calculations, and secondary process control.
