Orthstar has solved real-time control problems for major clients around the world. Orthstar automated the Dutch Rail System and developed intricate flight/engine controls, navigation software, simulation models, and mil-spec support and systems for commercial and military contractors. Orthstar flies with the huge LC130, the B52, B1, B2, the F16, F18, A6, A10, and C17; the Apache, Seahawk, Blackhawk, and Comanche helicopters; the Airbus, MD11, and Boeing's giant 747, 757, and 767s. Orthstar sails with the Trident and Seawolf submarines. Orthstar has automated factories and major processes for Corning, Kodak, Polaroid, AUCO Lycomming, NCR, General Electric, McGraw Edison, Nigara Mohawk, and United Technology. Orthstar also develops systems for railroads and power generating utilities. In 1995,O rthstar purchased Hughes Training's Rail Simulation Business and now has two divisions - th Systems Division which supports all in-house system development and the Engineering Division which supports the client system and software development activities.
