Agris-Schoen Vision Systems, Inc. ("ASVS") is a machine vision systems integrator. Machine vision is the use of cameras and computers for inspection, process control, and quality control. ASVS sells off-the-shelf turnkey systems such as the CKR and they design, build, and install custom systems for their clients' needs. Typical applications include optical character recognition, alignment, measurement, assembly verification, defect detection, pattern recognition, part detection, calibration, tolerancing, label inspection, print quality, fill level, bar code reading, 2-D code reading, bottle cap inspection, color checking, and LCD inspection. Experience includes reading text on a variety of manufactured products; measuring the quality of text; calibrating speedometers, tachometers, and odometers; testing LCD displays; measuring the quality of watermarks on currency; detecting defects on a range of products from films to plastics; and inspection of wire bonds.
