Electro-Controls began over 25 years ago as a value-added division of Dickman Supply, Inc., supplying custom electrical assemblies to their customer base. As business grew over the years, more services and expertise were added. In 1988, an engineering staff was formed to provide design services and PLC programming for their customers. In 1999, Electro-Controls was officially incorporated as a separate business, employing 65 associates, including 5 full-time engineers. Electro-Controls has expertise in PLC programming (of all major brands), specializes in video control panel configuration, has successfully implemented DeviceNet bus communication systems, and provides design and drawing services from concept to completion for numerous customers. Electro-Controls supplies turnkey solutions, not only performing the engineering services, but also designing and building the control system itself. Control panel assemblies from simple motor starter controls all the way through multi-bay drive control systems are built on-site. All control panels go through a rigorous quality check from a full-time staff of 4 quality control technicians. A new 35,000 square foot facility for Electro-Controls, Inc. is now under construction
