Aerodyn Engineering was incorporated in 2002 and has since purchased the Field Test and Instrumentation Division of Test Devices, Inc. We have retained all the FTID personnel and added additional engineering and tech support. We have increased the capabilities of the enterprise by adding additional facilities and machining equipment. We have two facilities. The Cincinnati facility is 7,500 Ft and focuses on the field test and data acquisition activities. The Indianapolis office is 10,500 Ft and houses the instrumentation and machining capabilities. Our focus is on the Power Generation and Aerospace markets. We specialize in gas turbine instrumentation and field testing. The four principals of the business have spent their entire careers in these markets and offer 89 years combined experience the testing of these machines. We are primarily a service organization. We respond to customers needs and have developed a reputation of being able to perform very difficult tests with a very high success rate. We can handle the logistics of getting the right people and equipment to where they are needed and supporting them to get the job done. We also manufacture a product. We make the world’s best slip rings, which are used to transfer data from rotating machinery. These are used throughout the world to acquire stress and temperature data from engines. Speeds to 120,000 RPM and capacities to 424 contacts are in the line.
