Koontz Electric Company, Inc. has been in the automation business since 1978, starting with the paper mill industry. They have four full-time electrical engineers on staff and two design technicians. Koontz Electric can build and install automation systems to a client's design and specifications or design, build, and install from a client's concept. The company has automation experience in pulp, paper, and saw mills; water and wastewater; locks and dams; power plants; substations and switchyards; chemical processing; and food processing. Koontz designs and fabricates all their own control panels. They have experience will all hardware and software platforms.
