BL Technology was established in 1974 as a control panel manufacturer. The company was originally founded to provide pump control panels for the municipal and oilfield industry. Over the years, the company has grown into a full service integration and security system firm dedicated to providing quality products and solutions to their clients. BL Technology's corporate office is located in a modern 17,000 square foot facility in Tomball, TX. In 2010, the facility was designed and constructed specifically to meet the requirements of BL Technology. Approximately half of the facility is dedicated to the manufacturing of custom control systems. The most common comment received by visitors to the complex is "I have never seen a panel shop like this before". Our UL 508A certified shop is a state of the art custom production facility; climate controlled, extremely well lit and specifically designed to optimize efficiencies in control panel production. A test room is provided for uninterrupted customer witnessing and demonstration. Test equipment and capabilities include process simulation equipment and software to thoroughly simulate process conditions. Every piece of equipment assembled by our technicians must pass a rigorous quality control process prior to delivery. As of May 2007, BL Technology was proud to add our Quality Management System in the efforts to obtain an ISO 9001 certification. In 2003, BL Technology became a certified Woman Owned Business opening many new opportunities in municipal and governmental projects. In 2002, we further expanded our offerings to our customers by implementing a Security Division. BLTI holds Texas Department of Public Safety Security and Texas Fire Marshall Licensing. We are now able to offer all aspects of Homeland Security for Access Control Systems, CCTV & Intrusion Monitoring, and totally integrated systems. In 2007, BL Technology expanded our geographical presence by opening an office in Hobe Sound, Florida. In 2008, we opened an office in North Texas and in 2009, we expanded our sales coverage to include Louisiana. At BL Technology, we continue to grow and change to meet the needs of our customers.
